Chorizo Gravy

Switch up your favorite topping on your biscuits or grits to this whole sensation, mouth watering gravy. Beeler’s chorizo brings a signature flavor to the plate that will have the whole family asking for more!



1 pound Beeler’s Pure Pork Chorizo

1 onion, diced

½ cup gluten free flour/ap flour

2 tablespoon butter

3 ½ cups milk

1 bunch fresh cilantro, chopped



  1. Place a  heavy gauged saucepan over medium heat. Add Beeler’s Pure Pork Chorizo and slowly brown the chorizo while breaking it up with your wooden spoon. Cook through completely.
  2. Add the diced onion to the sauce pan and continue to cook until onions are translucent.
  3. When the sausage and onions are cooked through add the butter and melt. Next, add flour and stir into sausage until dissolved.
  4. Pour the milk into the saucepan with the chorizo and bring it all to a soft boil. Once liquid is to a soft boil, reduce heat to low and whisk the sauce until it is to your desired thickness. 
  5. Pull the saucepan from the heat and add chopped cilantro.
  6. Serve over biscuits, mashed potatoes of your favorite cut of Beeler’s Pure Pork.
